Before opening my own firm, I worked at one of the country’s largest law firms. While there I represented clients in federal and state court. My experience includes handling matters involving:
I have represented large financial institutions, specialized lenders, loan servicers, agricultural equipment makers, elevator manufacturers, information technology firms, custom clothing manufacturers, not-for-profit organizations, transportation organizations and individuals in state and federal court. I was a contributing author of the Illinois Institute for Continuing Legal Education’s Starting Points! The Fundamentals of Practice in Illinois, at 9-1 – 9-56 (2008 Supplement) regarding bankruptcy issues. While in law school, I spent two semesters as a judicial extern for the Honorable Mary S. Schostok, who has since ascended to the Illinois Appellate Court.
As the son of a small business owner and having worked on behalf of some of America’s largest companies, I understand the challenges facing individuals, small businesses and major corporations. I am a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where I earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management. After graduating from the University of Oklahoma, I worked for two of the world’s largest accounting firms as a financial information systems consultant before enrolling in law school.
